Skate Set For October Australia, September Elsewhere - Xbox 360, PS3



Electronic Arts has announced that their free-form skating title Skate, will be released on October 11th here in Australia for both Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
The US will receive the 360 version on September 12th, followed by Europe on September 14th. The PS3 version will be released September 24th for US, and October 5th for Europe.
On August 15th, a playable demo will be released to the Xbox Live marketplace, allowing players to sample EA's unique attempt at the skateboarding game. Gamers can use the Skate.Reel to capture video of their action and post it online to www.skate.ea.com
The game will feature the unique Flickit controls, which make use of the dual stick controller to execute custom and unique moves. Your goal is to get coverage in two well known Skate magazines, Thrasher and The Skateboard Mag, as you work towards winning a spot at the X Games.
