US retailer starts scalping Wii's on Ebay - Wii
21st December 2007, 4:44pm

The Christmas demand for the Wii in the United States has been so great, that many stores are reporting a severe shortage of the units. Capitalising on this, one keen retailer called Slackers has been caught out trying to sell its allocation of Wii consoles on ebay for some $150-250USD more than Nintendo's official price. Nintendo has apparently yet to comment on the development.
Sliced Comments: Where there is demand there's always somebody willing to take advantage of it! even if it is a traditional bricks and motar retailer.
