Capcom Announces Unique Pricing Plan For Street Fighter IV

Emulating Radiohead's recent experiment in the music industy, Capcom have decided to give gamers the choice of how much they want to pay for Street Fighter IV. The controversial decision was revealed today during Capcom's latest press release for the game.
"We've always tried to be open minded about our pricing schemes", commented Capcom US's Vice President Christian Svennson, "We'd like to be the first to finally give gamers the chance to decide what the game is worth when they go to make the purchase."
The question is now whether the move well grab the attention of the gaming industry in the same way that it did the music world. We'll keep you updated.

In my research for my latest uni assignment on media misrepresenting the youth I read an article about how perhaps games will be free one day, like TV shows, and just have tons of ads in them.. Could be the way of the future.. if only!
When I first read the title though I thought maybe Capcop were going to make you pay for what characters you want to use, like Battlefield Bad Company![]()
