Virtual Console Hits 200 Games Down Under - Wii

The Wii's Virtual Console now has more than 200 classic games available for download down under. Two of the latest additions, Wonder Boy and Fantasy Zone (500 points apiece), herald the arrival of the SEGA Master System to the system, and bring the exact number of games to 201.

In case you don't know, the Virtual Console is updated weekly with classic games from the last twenty years of gaming, letting you relive the classics while simultaneously introducing them to a new generation. If you've lost track, you can now get games from the Nintendo Entertainment System, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Nintendo 64, SEGA Mega Drive, Turbografx, NEOGEO and now SEGA Master System.

The top 10 classic games to date downloaded by Australian Virtual Console users are:

3. Super Mario 64
4. Super Mario World
5. Super Mario Bros. 3
6. Donkey Kong Country
7. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
8. Sonic The Hedgehog
9. Paper Mario
10. Lylat Wars

I really really wish I could buy more VC games. But the damn Wii Points Cards are few and far between..
