Guitar Hero IV Announced, Bring Some Friends

So Guitar Hero is crazy popular and what better way to totally expand upon that franchise than with sequels. Activision head honcho Bobby Kotick has revealed Guitar Hero IV. Interestingly enough:

"It's not just about guitars. We'll include a lot of other instruments, vocals. It will help us expand internationally. It's the first game we've had in which we can use local content and local bands."

I wonder where that first idea came from?

When the competition comes up with a snazzy idea like including other instruments it's only a matter of time before the originals have to up their stuff to match it. It should be interesting to see how both go if they become so alike.

I think the extra instruments are definitely the way to go though, should make it more fun in multiplayer.

As as we all know, this game series is going to keep spouting sequels so long as they can make money off it.

I want the cow bell!!

i like how he says "we'll include a lot of other instruments" and then emphasizes this point by listing only "vocals"
