New Security Option for World of Warcraft - PC
27th June 2008, 1:01pm

Sick of having your account hijacked by nefarious people? Perhaps you'd like to check out Blizzard's new security measure: the Blizzard Authenticator.
This is an actual, physical device that generates a six-digit code after pressing a button. This key is then used in conjunction with the account name and password (after you link the two together) when logging into World of Warcraft. Each code is unique and can only be used once: you press the button again to generate a new code.
This device is not yet avaliable, but should be avaliable for purchase very soon. It'll set you back $6.50US, and will be fashioned so you can stick it on a keychain and proclaim that you're totally paranoid about people raiding your account.
