A sequel to the Wii game Eledees was recently announced by Konami. The game is called Eledees: The Adventures of Kai & Zero and will be released for the DS this winter in Europe. In the game, Kai and Zero are transported to "a mystical world on a magic bus created by Kai’s inventor of a father. As they get used to their surroundings, the pair must use all their skills to gather the Eledees they will need to assist their progression, with Kai making good use of his special capture gun, which is used to grab the evasive Eledees, and lift, manipulate and move any objects in their path."

A new addition are "Omega" Eledees which act like side-kicks and provide useful powers, such as freezing water and lighting up dark areas. A nice new feature is a Wi-fi mode which allows players to compete one on one, or as part of a four player battle where the aim is to collect more Eledees than your opponents. The game is shaping up pretty well, and the first screenshots are now available.

It's just mind-bottling that you think that it's 'splitting'.

You know, like what happens when your thoughts get all trapped up like in a bottle.

I am pretty sure very few use splitting. I think you are hearing them incorrectly.

I just looked it up. "Spitting image" comes from a slang form of "Spit and image", which was a term used AGES ago to say one is identical to another.

I think I must have picked up splitting image because putting those two words side-by-side in a sentance "splitting" seems more appropriate in describing identical (meiosis style!) than the word spit. However, that being said other people still use "splitting image" so I think both must be generally accepted as meaning the same thing.

I agree, it's definitely spitting.

I've heard both. Maybe I've just met others in the same boat at Julz then.

Oh well.

Nope, it's not splitting image, it's 100% spitting.

It's definitely cutesy like Pokemon, and the main character seems to have a hat that looks like Ash's.

I've always been a fan of well executed 2D graphics: the brightness makes me feel happy while I play. I still love the 2D in BoF3 whenever I replay.

EDIT: I just noticed in image no. 4: "Spitting image"? wth?

I assume you didn't know what it meant? It means looks exactly like, pretty common.

I thought that was supposed to be "splitting image", not spitting.

Both are usable, I think.

I always have heard spitting.

No offence to ppl who like this stuff - I just don't see the attraction *AT ALL*.

......it kinda looks like pokemon on the old gameboy.

What do you mean by stuff? If you mean the graphics and style then I don't know what to say.

You're silly fits, I guess.
