Super Mario RPG Hits WiiWare - Wii

Usually we don't bother putting up the weekly list of the two or three games hitting the Wii's Virtual Console or WiiWare, but this week is an exception. Hitting virtual shelves this week is the long-awaited Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars - the foundation of all the modern Mario RPG games, including Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door for the Gamecube and the Wii's Super Paper Mario. Both of them owe a huge debt to Square's 1996 SNES classic - it predates their merger with Enix - which unfortunately was never (legally) available in Australia.
If you loved any of the Paper Mario games, you owe it to yourself to check out the game that started it all. You'll find it in your Shop Channel for 900 happy points ($13.50), but be sure to acquire a Classic Controller or Gamecube Controller first.
