13th June 2003, 6:55pm
In a recent interview conducted by Les Echoes (French magazine), Yasuhiro Minagawa of Nintendo Japan talks about the future of the company.
"Our consoles have never lost money whereas Dreamcast or other Genesis never gained some. At the time, Nintendo was only a one board manufacturer to be played. Recently, our death regularly is predicted but we are still here whereas Sega, Nec, Bandai, Matsushita left this market. We have more experience than whoever and we are able to produce characters of video games like nobody else can." "We arrived eighteen months after Playstation 2. The next time, we will release [our new console] at the same time!"
