Bloody Roar 4 Released In November 2003
28th August 2003, 11:45am
Konami of Europe will unleash one of the most renowned fighting game franchises on PlayStation 2 this November, as Hudson Soft's Bloody Roar series reaches its fourth incarnation – with an all-new 'Career Mode' adding an unprecedented level of depth to the beat 'em up genre.
Bloody Roar 4 brings the series bang up to date, as the player selects one of the shape-shifting combatants to slash and pummel a series of rivals. Continuing the basic theme of its highly successful predecessors, Bloody Roar 4 is a 3D fighting title starring fighters with the ability to transform into 'Hyper-Beast' alter egos. Each player is governed by two power bars, one relating to their health which is depleted with each blow they receive and another that grows as combination attacks hit home. When the secondary bar is filled, the character can morph into their animal alter ego, providing the player with a secondary range of moves tailored to their inhuman side.
