THQ Announces Sphinx - PS2, GC

THQ today announced a new action/adventure game on Playstation2 and Gamecube consoles called 'Sphinx'.

This third person action/adventure is based around the mystery and mythology of acient Egypt. The game is being developed by the same peopel who did the latest Harry Potter game, Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets.

"With its incredible visual style and unsurpassed gameplay, we feel that Sphinx could be one of the defining games for this generation of consoles and beyond," said Alison Locke, THQ's executive VP in the US.

Sphinx is currently in development for both consoles and is expected to be released in North America in Autumn this year.
