Spawn: Armageddon Goes Gold!
10th November 2003, 10:10am
Namco recently revealed that Spawn: Armageddon has gone gold!
"We're confident that Spawn: Armageddon is about to raise a lot of eyebrows when it hits store shelves in late-November," said Glen Cureton, Producer at Namco Hometek Inc. "The close working relationship between the game's development team and Todd McFarlane Productions has ensured that Spawn: Armageddon not only lives up to the already successful Spawn comic franchise, but that it exceeds those high quality expectations in a way that only today's high-tech video game technology is capable of doing...get ready to see Spawn in a light never before seen."
Spawn: Armageddon, based on Todd McFarlane's best-selling comic book character, is a 3-D action/adventure game which positions the main character, Spawn, in a personal conflict caught between factions in the battle of Good vs. Evil. Players will encounter a variety of enemies through more than 30 interactive and destructible environments, as Spawn struggles to break free of the controlling forces of Heaven and Hell. The game will feature Spawn's many distinctive abilities including superhuman strength, hand-to-hand combat techniques, an arsenal of weaponry, Hell Powers, and his living symbiotic costume.
