Pokemon USA, Inc. and Wizards of the Coast, Inc. Resolve Dispute

NEW YORK & RENTON, Wash.-Dec. 29, 2003--Pokemon USA, Inc. and Wizards of the Coast, Inc., a subsidiary of Hasbro, Inc., announced today their resolution of a lawsuit filed October 1st by Wizards of the Coast concerning the Pokemon trading card game. All parties named in the original lawsuit, including The Pokemon Company, Nintendo of America Inc., the U.S. distributor of Pokemon trading card games, and two Pokemon USA employees have agreed to resolve their differences amicably without the need for protracted legal proceedings. Specific terms were not disclosed.
