First off, I'll point you in the revamped (and now WFC-enabled) official site. Check out stacks of footage.

Next, some new information about the game. For starters, there's a brand new stat called the Connection Percentage, or as we like to call it, the 'Chump Meter'. Basically, you start out at 100%, but if you decide to drop out of a game just before you lose (like people do on Mario Kart DS), the game will remember it next time you boot up, and subtract points from your percentage. Then when you're next online, you might find it harder to have a battle because people will see that you've disconnected unfairly. Best yet, if you accidentally disconnect due to a Wi-Fi failure or the like, no Chump Points are awarded.

When playing online, you enter a lobby system. The developers decided that since Hunters is an FPS, true customisation was needed, and thus the lobby was born. You can play against your Friends from your friend list, as well as VOIP with them, and chat using an inbuilt messenger program.

Better yet, another irritating aspect of Mario Kart DS's online play has been removed. If you had a kick-ass battle with a randomly selected person online, you can now select them to be a 'Rival'. If they agree, you can then see when they're online and battle with them. Plus, if you set your DS in 'bark mode' (not the real name, but you know what I mean), and someone else's DS comes in range, you'll exchange details and become Rivals.

Stat tracking is here, so that you can discover just how far you've walked in-game, how many headshots you've made, how many biped and alternate form kills you've had, and more. Plus, they'll be listed on the NintendoWiFi.com and MetroidHunters.com websites.

Each character has a weapon that works best if they use it. This "Weapon Affinity" means that Samus's Super Missiles home in, and while other characters can use the powerups, they won't home in or be as powerful. You can read more information in an interview with the game designer by clicking here. Stay tuned for its May release.
