Nintendo Land is Wii U's Wii Sports
Wii U

The Wii needed a Wii Sports to sell to customers that motion control had a future. And thus, the Wii U needs Nintendo Land to explain how tablet control and asymmetric gameplay can be fun. Put your money on this being packaged in with the console. They'd be stupid not to.
Nintendo Land is conceptually a theme park where you Miis can visit and re-enact games in the vein of your favourite Nintendo franchises. So there's a Zelda-ish sword game, a Luigi's Mansion ghost hunt and ten other minigames. Only six of the twelve are currently known, with F-Zero being a surprise inclusion (the series isn't dead!).
