Paper Mario Gets Sticky
3DS

One of the unsung heroes of the Mario sub-franchises is the wacky Mario RPG games. From the very first Square-Enix co-production back on the SNES, to the Paper Mario console games, to the Mario & Luigi handheld equivalents, the Mushroom Kingdom universe has meshed surprisingly well with the classic turn-based genre. All of which is a long-winded way of saying I am more than ready for Paper Mario: Sticker Star, which looks to tweak enough around the edges of the series' action battle roots while preserving the great look and humour.
Stickers are everywhere in the world this time, which is lucky, as they now form the basis for every attack you do in battle. They're your items too, and they can be pasted onto the world where needed - you can stick a fan on a stump to turn a windmill, for instance. Plus, it's only a few short months until release this holiday season. Check out all the screens and the trailer below.
