The dynamic duo is back, the loveable platformer duo and you know I'm not talking about those two plumbers. The little tin man Clank and the wrench-waving Ratchet make their second appearance on the PS2 after their gigantic hit 'Ratchet and Clank' now back with 'Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando'. With the success that was brought by the first one can Sony and Insomniac equal or better it under the pressure? Pressure can be a stumbling block for so many things, just how does R&C2 handle it?

Gameplay

As it happens from the previous Ratchet and Clank title they completed their mission and now are struggling to find work, we are firstly sent to a TV interview conducted with the two as they talk about life after the heroic triumph in the first installment of R&C. The way to upgrade your weaponry is to simply use them often and they will be upgraded - however, each weapon can only be upgraded once. The first with all its cool weapons available and you being able to pick which ones you buy escaping the system of other games that would allow you to lose items you have collected. The ability to be able to switch from weapon to weapon by simply pressing the triangle button made this easy to manage a large arsenal of weapons that you had acquired throughout your journey whilst in game fighting battles. Not only can his weapons be upgraded but Ratchet's health can also be raised up to 80 hit points using Nanotech which can be extremely useful with the amount of battles he has to go through.

You'll notice that the enemies are bigger and meaner than what we've seen in its predecessor that demands gamers to have a full list of ... (continued next page)
