It looks like another eagerly awaited title is no-longer a PS3 exclusive, with the announcement that Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed will be coming to the Xbox 360 in the first quarter of 2007. The game has been lauded ever since E3 this year, when it received a lot of glowing publicity for it's powerful graphics and gameplay with many "Best of Show" awards from other media outlets.

The game is set in 1191AD in the time of the Crusades, when a hidden band of feared assassins takes on both sides in an attempt to stop the hostilities. The player plays as Altair, who plays his part in attempting to change history with a mix of combat and stealth elements.

Here are a couple of freshly released screenshots from the Xbox 360 version of the game.

Sliced Comments: Looks to be another blow in Sony's attempt at scoring too many exclusives for their system - and this was one of the titles that was one that Sony fans have been saying is a good reason to go for the PS3 over the 360. One by one it seems they seem to be coming across to the Xbox 360. It looks like the high-price of the PS3 has most developers and publishers covering their bases, by releasing simultaneously most major titles on both PS3 and Xbox 360.
